Out with the zombies, in the the awesome SF photos.
My San Francisco takes the previous template of the zombie site, and replaces the fictional zombie killing with my real experiences within San Francisco. For realz? ......for realz.

Liquid Identity Site
Zombie Hunter’s Zombie-Killing Action Blog
The premise of this website will be that the protagonist, Zombie Hunter would have started the blog to document and share with the interweb his Zombie Kills within the city of San Francisco of which he resides.
Content within the site will include personal write-ups by Zombie Hunter, photos of zombie killings as well as short video clips of kills in action.
The website won’t function in a typical blog fashion where you scroll down to view previous posts. Instead, the main page will consist of a map of San Francisco and individual postings can be viewed by clicking on points on the map referencing where the Zombie Kill occurred.
Flash animation can be used to provide a short introduction video at the initial opening of the site.
Like any good blog, viewers will be able to comment on blog posts, otherwise known as Zombie Action Kill Occurrences. ZAKO for short.
In the future, with a cult following, viewers will be able to contribute their own ZAKOs within the site allowing the site to grow with its viewer count. With future growth, it may even be possible for viewers to upload ZAKOs on location by use of smartphones.
Liquid Identity
Unable to quite wrap my head around the syllabus’ description of what liquid identity is or pertains to, I would just like to say that I chose the theme of this site based on what I find to be the most important aspect – will it be fun for me to make? Also will I be able to include friends in the process and make it fun for them? And lastly, will the end product be enjoyable to the public?
As far as being able to tie this to the idea of liquid identity, the best I can do is this:
Liquid is one of three classical states of matter, the other two being solid and gas. Liquid is unique in that it shares identifying characteristics with the both solid and gas. Like gas, liquid is a fluid and both share the ability to flow with ease and freedom. When held in a container, it takes the form of the container. It becomes the container. Unlike gas however, and like solids, liquid cannot be compressed due to it’s high density. When compressed, the liquid will resist.
Identity (or sameness), in philosophical terms, refers to the characteristics that make an entity definable and recognizable from other entities. This could either refer to what makes something or someone different or the same as other people. Identity is the sum of all the characteristics that make me, me, and you, you. Whether we are the same or different.
The Zombie Apocalypse which we all fear and expect to happen can be attributed to a special strain of virus that turns the living to the dead to the undead. Much like liquid, this virus flows from person to person taking the shape of each individual victim. It becomes the victim. However, all identifying characteristics of the individual suddenly become nullified and whatever separated him/her from other people. In this sense, the individual loses his/her identity and becomes the virus.
Target Audience
The target audience for this website will be the demographic that Bill “Papa Bear” O’Reilly might refer to as stoned slackers who have nothing better to do than to surf the internet for random and useless entertainment. I would consider the website a success if the viewer is even mildly entertained.

totally extreme brah
The past couple weeks' worth of fighting and arguing and lots and lots of swearing between dreamweaver and I has finally produced a hot, creamy, steaming pile of creativity that I like to call my odd numbered page.
